Sunday Night Toast / part trois

“Warriors. That’s wassup.”

Double dose o’ the toast to make up for it’s absense last week.

First up…J. Cole. Cole World: The Sideline Story. Probably Hip-Hop album of the year. I say probably because I don’t think I’ve fully listened to any other Hip-Hop album released this year.

Best tracks: Nobody’s Perfect ft. Missy Elliot. Off time flow that evolves into crowd jumper once the drums kick in, refreshing hook with surprising Missy vocals (who knew she could sing?). Can’t Get Enough ft. Trey Songz; Usually don’t like these ones, but god damn it, I can not help it. As Mickey put it to me, Trigga doesn’t even sing and still manages to push out some addictive shxt. Lost Ones; Refreshing concept track with great purpose, intent and delivery. The second verse is as illmatic-esque as anyone will ever get. Mr. Nice Watch ft. Jay-Z; Whoever produced this…shit!! Furthermore, the rapped harmonies in the hook…SHIT!!!!.

And that’s that. Go get it.

Also, to keep in tandem with only the very most important of headlines, Fabolous and Ray J had some sort of altercation in the Vegas. Predictably, both parties are quite tight-lipped and vague on details. Now, rather than attempt to follow this story, I am choosing to arrive at my own conclusions that F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S knocked Brandy’s bro the fxck out, and thus, managed to climb back up into my top 5 dead or alive. Yep that’s what happened.

Drizzy aka Mr. OVO aka Drake thrusted his next album cover upon us. There is nothing to say about this.

Like I said, absolutely nothing.

The Big Bang Theory, Packed To The Rafters & Two & A Half Men were announced as the most watched shows on Australian television. This Country’s fucked. I’m moving to Iceland…Bjork what it is.

In more exciting TV news, new season’s for all the heavy hitters in the U.S. started this week, such as Supernatural and probably the funniest show I have ever witnessed in Community. Yes, the adventures of Jeff, Britta, Annie, Abed, Pierce, my personal favourite, Troy, as well as this guy, continue this week in the premiere of season 3. Unfortunately it wasn’t as funny, and a little wierd. But whatever. I’ve got so much faith in this show I’d continue to watch it if it was one joke and 29 minutes of blue screen. Let’s all take a minute to reminisce…

Click This (embedding disabled, seriously, shxttest shxt ever).

Call me whatever the eff you want but, I just got a DS from a mate for a reasonably discounted price, which came with Pokémon. How is this game still so addictive. It’s the same game since 1999. Visual and interactive crack.

Let’s be honest, no one on the corner got swagger like this:

and ahhh, I’m sorry but I couldn’t resist..WARRIORS IN THE GF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next toast will be coming to you live from ANZ stadium as I watch my babies take their shot at the ’11 title.
