Been meaning to do a fashion piece for a minute so here goes nothing.
It’s practically summertime for the southern hemisphere folk and so I thought I’d start with something of the sunglasses x swimsuits variety.
1. (n)n by Number (N)ine Sunglasses
Not actually produced by Number (N)ine but rather their spin off brand n(n), these sunglasses give off a very retro vibe with the goggle/tubular design of the focal lenses whilst still feeling progressive. Definitely one more suited for the ladies.
This nice pair only comes in standard black and can be pre-ordered for a nice $204USD. Hey the dollar is pretty sweet to match at the moment so can we really complain?
2. Vintage Frames Company x Cazal 951 Sunglasses
951 frames; in all uses of the word it is harder to get more retro than this. Cazal in conjunction with Vintage Frames Company have collaborated to bring forth this limited pair of shades. You wouldn’t be wearing this everyday nor with any outfit but best to keep it for when it counts; smart casual outing or when you’re reduxing on MJ’s Thriller.
Limited stock at 50 produced worldwide at a most ballinous $749.99USD.
3. TRON x Oakley 3D Gascan Sunglasses
TRON is coming this summer (or winter if your up north) and Oakley wants you to know. Not
This crossover piece comes with a custom Microclear™ bag, included for lens cleaning and eyewear storage. In the spirit of making this eyewear edition a collectible, the Microclear bag is also highlighted with some mean graphics akin to the upcoming film. Being the platform for Oakley’s 3D eyewear initiative the company promises that these shades will offer unprecedented levels of clarity and visual fidelity. Not bad for eyewear enthusiasts or those looking to pursue a career as a masked vigilante.
These are hitting stores next month at a comfortable $150USD.
So that’s it for fashion. Oh wait, “where are the swim suits?” you ask? Well if you ball out and enjoy life a little you too can enjoy the spoils the the radio clowns do:
Words of wisdom, feel comfortable and confident in your appearance and you’ll never look bad… maybe.
